**Job Title:** Long-Term Substitute School Nurse Opportunity
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated long-term substitute school nurse to join our team at Windham Public Schools. As a substitute school nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care services to medically fragile students as assigned
- Administer medications from physicians' orders
- Maintain medication records and reports
- Communicate with medical, nursing, and district personnel
- Manage and provide health room services, including first aid and CPR, according to established procedures
- Provide guidance and counseling in the area of health to students, staff, and parents according to professional standards
Requirements:
- Education Employment Verification - Act 16-67
- Nurse Certification, RN or LPN
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Certification
- State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
- Department of Children and Families Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Record Clearance
