Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Oklahoma Wound Care Center. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing essential care to patients with various wound types, including diabetic foot ulcers and surgical wounds. You will collaborate closely with physicians to develop treatment plans, administer medications, and monitor patients during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Treatment Planning: Assist physicians in developing treatment plans for patients with complex wounds.
- Patient Care: Provide hands-on care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest wound care treatments and techniques.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current Oklahoma State LPN License.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Experience: Preferably some experience in a hospital setting, but not required.
- Education: Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our competitive salary ranges from $18.08 to $29.53 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
