Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician at Margaret Mary Health, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with medication distribution and charging. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with medication distribution and charging
Retrieve orders to be filled and enter refill information via computer
Deliver filled orders and input orders and charges
Fill cassettes accurately and resolve missing doses
Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
No work experience required, but must have or complete course for Pharmacy Technician licensure through the state of Indiana within 6 months
Strong math skills and ability to operate basic office equipment and hospital applications

Work Environment:
Constant walking, standing, and use of hands and manual dexterity
Frequent stooping and reaching
Occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, and talking

Physical Requirements:
May need to lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
