Location: Suwannee, GA
Pay Rate: $20-30/HR
Position Summary:
NSC Technologies is seeking a Lead Security Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.
The ideal candidate will lead teams or a crew in the installation and implementation of new equipment, as well as perform service and repairs for existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test security management solutions, including access control, intrusion alarm, and closed circuit television systems.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment and devices associated with these systems.
- Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability.
- Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Read and understand technical documents, drawings, and prints to install equipment correctly.
- Terminate equipment and field devices while verifying operation from the field to the reporting systems.
- Lead team members and delegate tasks as needed, demonstrating proper techniques.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Must be able to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
- Must have experience with IP-based systems.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel through the metroplex.
- Working knowledge of Software House, Open Option, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, Salient, and Lenel is a plus.
- Nurse call, intercom, and commercial sound experience is also a plus.
