We are seeking a highly skilled Perishable Retail Buyer to join our team at Frazier Farms Market. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate replenishment of perishable products, maintaining pricing and department margins, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in buying or merchandising, preferably within a natural foods grocery store. As a Perishable Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting regional managers with writing orders, reviewing inventory management, and replenishing products through efficient buying procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with vendors to secure deals and competitive pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure timely and accurate product orders to monitor inventory turnover, and maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
  • Product Quality Control: Monitor product quality, freshness, and ensure proper rotation to maintain high standards.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead teams, providing training and support to staff as needed.
  • Customer Service: Educate department managers on new, local, and private label products, and provide exceptional customer service.

You will also have the opportunity to participate actively in regional sales promotions, develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, and utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills to manage inventory sheets and department records.

What We Offer
