Job Description:

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a highly skilled Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hemodialysis environment, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Fresenius Medical Care's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct medical consultations, and coordinate patient transfers between facilities.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in nephrology, dialysis technology, and evidence-based practices.
  • Assist with staff development and mentoring, providing guidance and support to new hires and colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state where employed;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute or chronic hemodialysis nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and maintaining attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex clinical issues and implement evidence-based solutions.
