About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Account Executive to maintain and grow relationships with assigned customers while achieving sales and revenue goals. This role involves retaining existing business, expanding market share, introducing new products and services, and developing new relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Retention and Growth: Retain customer volume, sales, and profitability through proactive stewardship of relationships with assigned customers.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Penetrate and expand relationships and revenue potential with assigned accounts by selling new or additional products or services, finding additional buyers, and selling additional customer locations.
- Product and Service Offering: Sell and support the full suite of FreightTAS product and service offerings.
- Pipeline Development: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities to increase FreightTAS market share in the territory.
- Joint Customer Planning: Direct joint customer planning efforts in assigned accounts.
- Customer Satisfaction: Proactively manage customer satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems, monitoring satisfaction, and recommending process and delivery improvements.
- Support to Other Sales Team Members: Assist other sales team members with customers outside the assigned account base when required.
- Customer Transition: Support and manage assigned customer transition from the Business Development Group during customer implementation.
- Quarterly Business Reviews: Design, manage, and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to assigned customers.
- Pricing, RFP Responses, and Bids: Ensure all assigned customer pricing, RFP responses, and bids are completed and delivered accurately and timely.
- SOP Creation and Management: Support SOP creation, management, updating, and adherence for assigned customers.
- Travel: Travel within region to branch offices, customer field offices, and assigned customers to help accomplish assigned customer objectives.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue budgets.
- Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
- Achieve customer retention and growth targets.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Alignment:
- Reports to the local Branch Manager.
- Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
- Works closely with the Customer Service Team members to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- This position has no direct reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding sales experience.

Salary Range:$80,000-$120,000 depending on experience.
