Nuclear Energy Account Manager

About the role:
The Nuclear Energy Account Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing customer relationships with utility companies. This role requires strong customer service skills, a deep understanding of utility services, and the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs. This role will report into the VP, Partnerships and Consortium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to inform business decisions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact for all utility-related matters.
- Needs Assessment: Identify and understand customer-specific energy needs and usage patterns.
- Rate Analysis: Analyze different rate structures and tariffs to recommend the most cost-effective options for customers.
- Energy Efficiency: Promote energy-efficient practices and technologies to help customers reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with utility/IPP counterparties.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues related to utility services.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in business, marketing, finance)
- Minimum eight years of experience in customer service or a related field
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of utility industry practices and regulations
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., CRM systems, billing software)

The estimated starting salary range is $118,000 - $140,000 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion.
