Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Carle Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Room patients, take vitals, and process medications and allergies.
  • Assist providers with minor procedures, stock and close down rooms, and remove splints and casts.
  • Collect and process specimens accurately and assist with MRI screenings.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Successful completion of a medical terminology course within six months of start date.
