Job Description

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will assist with the management of patients recovering from surgical and medical interventions, particularly focusing on those with orthostatic conditions.

  • Assist in monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, especially during position changes.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to implement care plans and adjust according to patient needs.
  • Assist in mobility and transfer processes, ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
  • A current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
