Job Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic office and field technical engineering tasks related to construction plan review, construction inspecting, field laboratory material testing, and assisting the public. The ideal candidate will have some experience with field testing, Microsoft Word and Excel, and field inspections and documentation.

* Perform basic field inspections, including field sampling and material testing as needed
* Assist the public and construction project personnel to ensure roads are safe for travel

Working Conditions:

This position requires work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, wind, rain, and snow. The position also requires standing for extended periods, hand dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
