Senior Geologist

Terracon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Geologist to join our team in Winter Park, FL. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting subsurface field and sampling data to develop conclusions concerning environmental and geologic site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and interpret subsurface field and sampling data, including soil and groundwater, to develop conclusions concerning environmental and geologic site conditions.
• Generate subsurface maps and cross-sections and collaborate with engineering and environmental scientist staff on projects.
• Oversee field monitoring and testing of soils, including boring investigations and soil type classification.
• Prepare written plans and reports related to site investigations, assessments, and remediation activities.
• Participate in client and business development, and may serve as team member or lead in meetings and communications with clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
• Florida Professional Geologist (P.G.) License Required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Experience with FDEP Waste Cleanup Program (WCP) and/or Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP) preferred.
