At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a skilled Neonatal Care Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to newborns and their families in our Level III NICU. As a Registered Nurse with experience in neonatal care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Engage in education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in neonatal care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III NICU or successful completion of KP Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) course or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
