RN - Patient Care Specialist - Mid Shift

**Job Summary**
MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN - Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide expert patient care to patients in our Emergency Department. This is a part-time position working 24 hours a week, with a mix of 11:00am -11:30pm and 12:00pm -12:30am mid shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Responsibilities**
As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing patient care plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will also work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve desired patient care outcomes.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate Degree in Nursing or a graduate degree from an accredited RN program, as well as current RN licensure in the state of Iowa. Previous experience in acute care is preferred, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is also preferred.
