Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Emerald Care Center Tulsa, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, providing direct nursing care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor residents' vital signs, document their progress, and report any significant changes to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
  • Care Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet each resident's needs.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care, communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid LPN license in Oklahoma.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on state regulations.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
