Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act
  • Implement plan of care initiated by the registered nurse
  • Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education regarding self-care techniques and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program
  • Three years of nursing experience, preferably in community/home health or medical/surgical settings
  • CURRENTLY LICENSED AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE IN THE STATE
  • Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance
