Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our team at The Shyft Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering customized solutions that meet their unique needs.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targeted revenue growth
  • Builddirect relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Pursue and close new business opportunities through effective communication and negotiation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in business development or sales
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong understanding of the specialized vehicle market and its key players
