Radiation Oncology Specialist

About the Position:
Columbus Regional Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Cancer Care team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for radiation therapy, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with patients and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or related field.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
- Indiana License as a Radiation Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Work Environment:
This full-time position requires working Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, with a holiday and on-call rotation. The employee will regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, and push or pull. The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and must regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
