Assistant Title Production Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Title Production Manager to join our team at Title One Agency, Inc. This role will be responsible for assisting the Title Production Manager in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of title records, conducting thorough title search exams, resolving title issues, and providing risk guidance to the operations team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive title searches and examinations to identify potential issues or defects in the title.
- Research and analyze complex legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, judgments, and easements, to assess their impact on the title.
- Collaborate with underwriters, attorneys, and other stakeholders to resolve title defects and clear outstanding issues.
- Prepare, review, and approve title commitments, policies, and endorsements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to the operations team, assisting them in resolving title-related inquiries, issues, and challenges.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, changes in title protection laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and title insurance underwriters.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of title records, maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation for each transaction.
- Collaborate with the TPM to help create automation and software solutions to streamline title protection processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in title examination and protection within the real estate title industry.
- In-depth knowledge of title protection regulations, laws, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of legal documents and contracts related to real estate transactions.
- Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex title issues.
- Proficient in using title search software, online databases, and other relevant technology tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering quality results within tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
