Lead Clinical Excellence at Light Counseling

We are seeking a highly skilled LPC/LMFT Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Light Counseling. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

**Job Summary**

The LPC/LMFT Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and support to Residents in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy as they work towards licensure as an LPC/LMFT. This role is focused on ensuring high-quality client care through supervision, case consultation, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide individual and group supervision to Residents in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy by ensuring compliance with ethical standards and clinical best practices.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Offer guidance on complex cases, helping clinicians navigate clinical challenges and make informed decisions.

**Case Consultation**

  • Facilitate case consultation meetings, providing feedback and suggestions to clinicians on their cases.
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment strategies for clients with complex needs.
  • Support clinicians in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

**Professional Development**

  • Assist clinicians in identifying areas for professional growth and support their development through training and continuing education opportunities.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy.

**Compliance and Quality Assurance**

  • Ensure that all clinical practices adhere to state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct periodic chart audits to ensure documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives as directed by the Clinical Site Manager.

**Requirements**

  • Be a committed Christ-follower.
  • Requires a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or education equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • An active and in-good-standing LPC/LMFT license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Current Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Complete all required background checks including drug tests.

**Estimated Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
