About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Job Summary

This is a float position supporting the operations at Westside Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT scanners and other radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities
  • Performing diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, biopsy, and special procedure examinations
  • Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Administering contrast media and following established departmental directives
  • Maintaining quality assurance functions and troubleshooting equipment
  • Restocking supplies and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as a CT technologist within the past two years or six months in an acute hospital setting
  • Degree in Radiologic Science or related field (Associate's or higher)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography required
  • Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology
  • Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and policies and procedures
