About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Animal Health Professional to join our team at TISDALE ANIMAL HOSPITAL in Louisville, Kentucky. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians during examinations and medical treatments, providing direct care to our animal patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinarians during examinations and medical treatments
  • Provide direct care to animal patients
  • Work with a variety of animals, including restraint and proper training for evaluation and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology, animal science, or a related field from an accredited program
  • At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Familiarity with animal behavior and healthcare principles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
