Job Summary:

The Clinical Operations Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Naka Infusion Unit at First Connect. Reporting directly to the Director, this individual will be responsible for managing unit operations, including staffing patterns and patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unit Management: Collaborate with the Director to oversee daily unit operations, ensuring adequate staffing and resources to meet patient needs.
  • Clinical Shifts: Work as a Charge Nurse, providing direct patient care and supervising nursing staff during clinical shifts.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling and policy development, to support unit operations.
  • Staff Development: Promote professional growth and development among nursing staff, focusing on best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in infusion therapy, with a focus on oncology.
  • Licensure and Education: Current MA RN license, BLS certification, and a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Business Acumen: Education or coursework in business, health administration, or public health is preferred.
