Enterprise Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and developing emerging market business sales relationships with potential clients and closing new and expanded sales agreements.
As an HCM Account Executive at Paylocity, you will work in a fast-paced business environment that is very competitive and quota-driven, targeting small businesses. You will leverage our company's expertise, industry profile, and knowledge of the industry to generate net-new business opportunities and schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients.
You will prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition for clients by working directly with internal departments. Additionally, you will develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources, building and maintaining relationships within the Broker channel as well as other referral sources.

Key Responsibilities- Generate net-new business opportunities leveraging company expertise and industry knowledge.
- Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
- Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales process.
- Work with internal departments for a smooth client transition.
- Develop prospects through various channels and build relationships within the Broker channel.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales position.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.

- A base pay of $60,000 - $95,000 per year.
