MRG Exams is a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams, serving the needs of military families and veterans nationwide. With over 25 years of experience, we offer a unique opportunity for licensed psychologists to make a difference in the lives of those who have served.

Salary Information

Job Description

This role involves performing comprehensive assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct in-person assessments for each veteran. Your findings will be used to complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), which will help inform the U.S. Veterans Administration's decision-making process.

You will work independently, assessing up to 4 veterans per day, and will not be responsible for making disability determinations. The VA makes all disability determinations, using the information provided in the DBQs. This is an in-person position, requiring regular attendance and adherence to a standard schedule.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, possess an active and unrestricted psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA. We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who can provide exceptional service to our nation's veterans.

Benefits

As an independent contractor with MRG Exams, you will receive malpractice insurance coverage, as well as access to health insurance options. You will also have the opportunity to work with a reputable organization that values its employees and provides a supportive environment for growth and development.
