Job Summary: The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, working with providers to ensure timely completion of treatment plans, and facilitating communication between patients, insurance companies, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments and procedures
  2. Work with providers to develop and implement treatment plans
  3. Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve issues and obtain authorizations
  4. Act as a liaison between the dental resident and attending physician
  5. Monitor patient care to ensure positive clinical outcomes
  6. Prepare statistical reports on services provided
  7. Develop patient education models and programs in conjunction with clinical staff
  8. Review treatment plans for completeness and accuracy
  9. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in clinical care coordination and/or treatment coordination
  • Patient interaction and care coordination experience
