We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team at MRG Exams, a leading provider of Independent Medical Examinations for the Veterans Administration. As an assessment specialist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and assessing the mental health needs of United States Veterans.
Job OverviewThis is a part-time opportunity that requires the completion of Disability Assessments on Veterans. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
The selected individual will be responsible for reviewing behavioral health records electronically and conducting comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran. Additionally, they will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal.
The key aspects of this role include:
- Reviewing and assessing 4 Veterans per day
- Completing DBQs through the Web Portal
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include malpractice insurance coverage and options for health insurance.
