As a Lactation Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynecology, you will provide expert guidance and support to new mothers and their families in promoting breastfeeding and addressing lactation-related concerns. This role is a critical part of our hospital's commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient and staff education on lactation and breastfeeding
- Develop and implement lactation programs and services
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies
- Successful completion of IBCLC and/or CLC certification
- Minimum of one year of lactation experience
- Current certification to practice as an IBCLS/IBCLC or CLC
