Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform verification and validation processes to ensure security compliance across all information systems, products, and components.
  • Examine design specifications, documentation, configuration practices, and operational procedures.
  • Identify instances of non-compliance with security standards and propose potential solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate security measures.
  • Confirm that the information system meets established security requirements.
  • Carry out vulnerability assessments of the system.
  • Coordinate and oversee penetration testing activities.
  • Generate detailed verification and validation reports for the information system.
  • Offer recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Assist in drafting standards and guidelines for government use.
  • Possess experience in security or systems engineering across five or more domains, including telecommunications, operating systems, databases, middleware, applications, web servers, SANS/Netaps, Active Directory, firewalls, and controlled interfaces.
