Job Summary

Corewell Health is seeking a highly skilled Associate Special Procedure Tech to join our team. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing heart and vascular procedures, working closely with physicians to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients undergoing invasive and interventional procedures, providing technical support and quality care.
  • Perform IV starts, prep patients, and monitor hemodynamics, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures.
  • Operate equipment, manage vascular access sites, and provide patient education.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, physicians, and ancillary departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on technical equipment and maintain radiation safety standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) or cardiovascular technologist program.
  • Clinical experience required, with preference for experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
  • BLS certification and active RT status upon hire, with additional certifications as required by site.
