At Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated, we are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Schedule: DAYS (PRN-AS NEEDED)

About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. You will have full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Have full access to patient health information.
  • May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
  • Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
