Sr Training Specialist Role Overview:

Farm Bureau Financial Services seeks a skilled Sr Training Specialist to drive the development and implementation of effective training programs for underwriting personnel across the PC Company. As a key member of our Education and Compliance Department, you will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training needs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify specific areas where training is needed, collaborating with underwriting personnel to develop targeted programs that ensure compliance with Underwriting Best Practices and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of underwriting personnel training records, monitoring employee progress and adjusting curriculum accordingly to optimize training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting Quality Assurance Specialists on identified training issues, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality training programs.
  • Work closely with the PC Performance Education Manager to identify expenses and develop the Education and Compliance Department training budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

About You:

  • College degree or equivalent plus seven years of relevant experience required; three years of claims or underwriting training experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree or Industry Designations desired; AINS, AIC, API, AU, or CPCU certifications beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills essential for success in this role.
