Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure high-quality care.
  • Provide pediatric school-based services to make a positive impact on the community.

Requirements:
  • Valid OR state SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification.
  • One year of experience with swallowing disorders or extensive dysphagia management experience within an internship/externship program.
  • Training and knowledge in prevention, screening, evaluation, and assessment, as well as planning, implementing, and monitoring intervention.

Education:
  • Graduate of a school of speech/language pathology.
