Job Summary
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  • Identify and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate care and positioning.
  • Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote healing.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their growth and development.
  • Use downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
  • Basic Life Support certification is required; Advanced Life Support must be achieved within six months of hire.
