About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Specialist to join our team at Wiers Fleet Partners. This individual will be responsible for partnering with long-term customers to reduce fleet costs and ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong operational and technical knowledge of vehicle service, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires a high level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to learning and a team player attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules with customers and Wiers Service Centers.
  • Help customers minimize fleet costs through maintenance recommendations, repair vs replace decisions, and other opportunities.
  • Ensure that customers are receiving consistent experiences that meet their expectations.
  • Serve as an expert resource for customers on questions about inspection results and recommended repairs to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in business systems.
  • Work on special projects that enhance the customer experience and eliminate waste.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service within the commercial truck leasing, fleet service, or fleet management industries.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Deep knowledge of automotive or commercial fleet maintenance and repair best practices.
  • Problem solving skills to address intricate customer requirements.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of service department administration preferred.
  • Ability for up to 30% regional and national travel.

  • Salary $65-80K - based on experience - plus quarterly variable compensation based on performance.
