Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at the Arizona Department of Health Services. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that licensed facilities and providers comply with all applicable regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and investigations to determine compliance with federal regulations, statutes, rules, and internal procedures.
  • Prepare investigation reports and provide technical assistance to current or potential providers.
  • Participate in and conduct inspections/investigations to determine compliance with federal regulations, statutes, rules, and internal procedures as directed and under guidance.
  • Attend and participate in staff, advisory committee, and/or stakeholder organization meetings.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, with experience working in a licensed or regulated setting, or experience working for a regulatory agency.
  • Must have a driver's license and ability to travel statewide.
  • Must possess a valid level one fingerprint clearance card issued under A.R.S. or must apply for a level one fingerprint clearance card within 7 working days after beginning employment.
