About the Role:

Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut is seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Shift Supervisor to lead our successful and growing E-Commerce department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring production and sales goals are met, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train floor staff in E-Commerce operations, monitor performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Assist the E-Commerce Manager in resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective listing strategies to generate maximum revenue from collectibles, utilizing above-average knowledge of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Goodwill's high standards.
  • Collaborate with stores to ensure product quality and quantity, promoting efficient supply chain management.
  • Troubleshoot problem orders and customer complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor shelves and facilities, implementing strategies to optimize inventory and improve sell-through rates.
  • Pull and prepare items for shipment, meeting deadlines and ensuring accurate packaging.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting cooperation, and sharing knowledge and expertise among employees.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in E-Commerce operations, preferably in a retail or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of jewelry or different types of collectibles, with a proven track record of generating revenue from these products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital cameras.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift over 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks as required.
