Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at the City of Flagstaff, AZ. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for providing professional planning and heritage preservation services to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement neighborhood and historic district plans
  • Conduct historic resource surveys and evaluations
  • Provide technical assistance to developers and property owners
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders to identify preservation needs
  • Develop and manage grant programs for historic preservation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in historic preservation, architecture, or a related field
  • Three years of experience in cultural and historic preservation or neighborhood planning
  • Current American Institute of Certified Planners certification or ability to obtain within one year
