We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare IT Strategist to join our team at Altais Health Solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the development and optimization of our PPO IT applications, driving end-user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between the IT team and end-users, addressing day-to-day issues and coordinating cross-functional efforts when needed. This involves determining methods and procedures for new assignments, coordinating activities with other personnel, and developing an understanding of operational needs to inform workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as primary liaison between IT teams and end-users, ensuring timely issue resolution and coordination across teams.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments, leveraging expertise to drive efficient workflows.
- Coordinate activities with other personnel, fostering collaboration and open communication.
- Analyze technical issues associated with Epic and other software, identifying opportunities for system improvement and implementing requested changes.
- Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise, building relationships to drive business success.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare setting, preferably in an IPA or managed care environment.
- Epic Tapestry Certified and technically skilled across Epic Applications.
- Ability to parse and edit ANSI X12 files, familiarity with interfaces and translation software such as Cloverleaf.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple assignments or tasks with potentially conflicting deadlines.

Salary RangeThis role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The location-based pay scale may vary based on factors including Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions.
