Job Overview:

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to provide expert assistance during surgical procedures at one of our clients' facilities in Lewiston, ID.

About the Role:

  • As an RNFA, you will work closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient care throughout the perioperative period.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for surgical patients, adhering to sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
  • Additional responsibilities include monitoring patients' status, communicating effectively with the surgical team, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Idaho or licensure eligible.
  • Completion of an RNFA course with documentation required.
  • CNOR certification required (Certified Nurse Operating Room).
  • Minimum of three years of perioperative RN experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • A call schedule requires 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month, with a $4.00/hour call pay rate.
  • Shift differential applies to evening shifts (8% pay differential) and night shifts (11% pay differential).
