Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at MCP TN. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing open orders reports, conducting orientation sessions for new hires, and processing benefits information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Open Orders Report to Seat Assignment
  • Conduct Up-to-Date Orientation Sessions
  • Process Hourly/Salaried New Hires
  • Maintain I-9 Binders for MCP-TN Employees
  • Assist with Preparing New Hire Orientation Packets
  • Follow Through on Benefit Information
  • Process Benefits Information for Employees
  • Oversee Locker Assignments and Shoe Reimbursements
  • Track Applications through Applicant Tracking System
  • Responsible for Uniform Distribution and Invoices
  • Assign LMS Folders to Associates and MCP-TN Employees
  • Generate Reports on Training Completion
  • Responsible for Maintaining Garnishments
  • Check Mail Throughout the Day
  • Filing and Maintenance of Employee Records
  • Issue Termination Paperwork within 2 Days
  • Assist HR Manager as Needed
  • Answer Telephone Calls, Emails, and Faxes
  • Maintain E-Verify Documentation
  • Generate Reports on New Hires, Terminations, and Transfers
  • Order and Maintain Office Supplies

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field Preferred
  • 2+ Years of Experience in HR
  • Knowledge of HRIS Systems, Preferably PAYCOM
  • Experience Handling I-9, E-Verify, and General HR Issues

Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year
