We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate educator to join our team as a Math and Computer Science Homeschool Teacher. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to love learning through hands-on activities, curiosity, and positive reinforcement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students in math and computer science curriculum
  • Curate and facilitate interactive computer science curriculum that promotes problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Create lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual student needs
  • Integrate hands-on, project-based learning activities to make complex topics accessible and enjoyable
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques to cater to different learning styles
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Provide regular updates on student progress to parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of math and computer science subject matter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Patience and understanding when working with students who may be struggling with the material
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher or tutor
  • Teaching Credential (not required for all positions)
