Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Freight Brokerage Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and transportation providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through solicitation of available freight within customer networks and development of strategic partnerships with transportation providers.
  • Tender loads, create loads, set appointments, dispatch, track, and trace loads, as well as resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Negotiate rates with customers and transportation providers to ensure optimal margins and meet commission targets.
  • Schedule and dispatch while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or two years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $50,000 and $55,000 per year, plus the opportunity to earn an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on performance.
