Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Psychiatric Unit

Melrose-Wakefield Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the north suburban Boston area, offering a range of clinical care and services to the community.

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Psychiatric Unit team, providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Identify and report any signs of suicidal ideation or aggressive behavior to the RN for assessment.
  • Participate in unit searches and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved practical nurse program.
  • Current license as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current certification in CPR required.
  • 2-4 years experience in healthcare and nursing services experience strongly preferred.
