We are now looking for a Web applications developer (react) to work on an auction and trading platform for a large institutional client.

YOU ARE:
A person with a strong desire to raise the bar for your team technically
Tenacious, curious, and collaborative in all aspects of your work
A quick learner with excellent communication skills

YOU HAVE:
Extensive knowledge of building application front ends, particularly with React
Typescript production experience; A preference for Typescript over Javascript
A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, the DOM, and how it all comes together in the browser.
Practical knowledge of modern web tooling - build tools, package managers, styling engines, web framework landscape, etc.
Proficiency with client-side debugging tools (Chrome Developer Tools, React Devtools) as a means of improving performance
Experience working on front office systems

YOU WILL:
Build greenfield financial applications alongside your Adaptive colleagues
Use the latest technology to create elegant and robust solutions
Contribute to building and releasing quality software on time
Use your knowledge to build great-looking, event-driven, and highly interactive interfaces
Collaborate with server-side developers, user-experience designers, and business analysts
Participate in a test-driven, agile environment
Keep up to date with the developments in technology and quickly adapt to them to achieve better results

WHAT WE OFFER:
Medical from the 1st of month following your start date (i.e. if you join on the 24th of July, it starts on the 1st of August). We have 6 Aetna plans to choose from as provided by our PEO, Justworks. We make a flat monthly contribution to your healthcare costs.

Dental and vision from the 1st of the month following your start date - we have 3 dental and 2 vision plans to choose from.

We make fixed contributions to each.
23 days of vacation per calendar year plus 11 public holidays

Group disability insurance:
short-term and long-term (60% and taxable)
401K safe harbor plan where we match contributions up to 5% of base pay on a paycheck-to-paycheck basis (you can opt-in after 90 days of service)

THE PROCESS:
We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly. So here you will have three stage interviews:1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.
2- A zoom chat with one of our React developer colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your knowledge and your experience
3- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). During this interview, we will dig even deeper, and you will have a pair programming task to do.
But don't worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.
Here is a little tip for you during those stages:
