About the Job

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and equipment
  • Repair and replace diesel engine components as needed
  • Conduct road tests to diagnose problems and ensure vehicles are safe for operation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASE certification in diesel engines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
