Artesia General Hospital is seeking a skilled Sleep Tech/Polysomnography Specialist to join its team of healthcare professionals. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary

The Sleep Tech/Polysomnography Specialist will work closely with our Polysomnographic Technologists to assist with comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis. This includes gathering, analyzing, and integrating patient information to identify and meet specific patient needs. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and calibrating equipment, applying electrodes, and performing physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Polysomnographic testing and analysis
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment
  • Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards
  • Perform physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals
  • Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Clinical Polysomnography, RRT/CRT preferred
  • Two years of experience in a respiratory therapy setting preferred
  • Training per licensure
  • Certificate of completion from School of Clinical Polysomnography
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
