We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced ICU environment, providing exceptional care to patients with critical injuries or illnesses. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs to identify areas for improvement.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Vital Sign Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license.
- ICU experience and a strong understanding of critical care principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of stress and pressure.
- Basic life support certification.
