Job Title: Mid-Level M&E Specialist

SGI Global, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level M&E Specialist to provide expert Monitoring and Evaluation Services for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of African Affairs, Office of Regional Peace and Security (AF/RPS).

Job Summary

The successful candidate will contribute to defining standard M&E products, ensuring consistency with the Evidence Act and FAATA principles, as well as AF/RPS policies and definitions. They will develop and administer M&E products, draft Information Memoranda, and develop an M&E Findings/Recommendation Tracker organized around AF/RPS strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of M&E products and ensure consistency with AF/RPS policies and definitions.
  • Develop and administer M&E products, including Learning Agendas and M&E Findings/Recommendations.
  • Conduct monitoring to determine whether objectives/sub-objectives are on track and provide real-time feedback to program managers.
  • Conduct Project Evaluations for Key Projects Identified by Program Managers.
  • Conduct Country-level Assessments to inform subsequent program design and decisions.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or equivalent and five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Requires SECRET Security Clearance or ability to obtain one before onboarding.
  • At least three (3) years of professional M&E experience.
  • Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subordinates and create a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software, including advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
