Outpatient Child/Adolescent Mental Health Therapist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents to provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. You will also be responsible for evaluating mental health diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining updated documentation using our company platforms and EHR.
Responsibilities- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and implement treatment plans for children and adolescents
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions
- Maintain updated documentation using our company platforms and EHR
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Care coordination for assigned clients to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in clinical staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and community outreach
- Community involvement and engagement
- Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Clinical licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) in good standing
- Experience with completing intake assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of community resources and insurance billing
- General knowledge of Apple products, EHR, Telehealth, and other software platforms
- Ability to pass a background check
